What do I pay every month?

You pay a fixed platform fee based on your active room count: Starter, Growth, or Enterprise. That fee includes the full hotel operating system: PMS, POS, KDS, finance, CRM, housekeeping, reports, workflows, and a managed AI allowance. Optional add-ons such as channel manager or extra admin users are shown separately.

What's included in the base platform fee?

Everything you need to run your hotel: complete PMS with booking engine, POS system, guest CRM, housekeeping management, staff management, revenue analytics, tax-compliant invoicing, unlimited email marketing, PDF reports, and 5GB storage. The base fee covers the full platform. AI usage is included up to the plan allowance and can be topped up for high-volume hotels.

Why did you remove the usage estimate calculator?

Usage estimates are easy to misunderstand because WhatsApp, AI, OCR, SMS, and voice usage depend on your setup. A hotel using its own Meta WhatsApp Business account may be billed directly by Meta, while another hotel may use Hotelary-managed WhatsApp credits. AI cost also varies by message length, tools used, documents, voice notes, and the model required. So the pricing page now shows the committed base platform fee, and usage credits are explained separately.

How are WhatsApp messages billed?

If you connect your own Meta WhatsApp Business number and Meta bills you directly, Hotelary does not charge you again for those WhatsApp message fees. If you use Hotelary-managed WhatsApp sending, you maintain prepaid WhatsApp credits and message costs are deducted from that wallet.

What do you mean by an AI conversation?

An AI conversation is a guest or staff interaction where the assistant needs the language model to understand, reason, or reply. It is not the same as every WhatsApp message. A simple automated notification may not need AI at all, while a booking inquiry with multiple follow-ups, room matching, policy checks, or owner escalation can use more AI. We use this term for allowance tracking, not to surprise-bill every single chat bubble.

What happens if my hotel uses more AI than the included allowance?

High AI usage is handled through prepaid AI credits. You can top up credits when your allowance is low, and credits are consumed by actual model usage. This protects both sides: normal usage stays simple inside the base plan, while heavy guest-assistant usage, voice-heavy workflows, long context, and document-heavy operations are billed transparently.

Yes. The Billing area includes an AI credits section. Hotels can top up AI credits through Razorpay from the dashboard, with the allowance, currency, and model mix reviewed against the hotel account.

Which AI model do you use?

Hotelary manages the model layer for you. We can route work across current production-grade models depending on reliability, latency, and cost. This means hotels are not locked to one model name, and when a provider retires a model, we migrate the backend without changing how your staff or guests use Hotelary.

What's included in the Channel Manager add-on?

Accepted Answer

Two-way OTA sync: it pushes your inventory, rates, and bookings across Booking.com, MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, Expedia, Agoda and more in real-time, and auto-imports OTA reservations so you never oversell. You only need it if you list on OTAs — if you take direct bookings only, you can skip it. (AI Rate Shopping and the AI Pricing Advisor are included free on every plan — they are not part of this add-on.)

How is AI Rate Shopping billed?

AI Rate Shopping is included on every plan — you don't need any add-on. Your first month of rate pulls is completely free. After that, each pull is metered against your existing AI credits wallet (the same prepaid balance that covers your AI assistant usage — there is no separate wallet to manage). A fair-use daily cap prevents runaway automated pulls, each pull has a small, clearly shown price, and your plan's AI allowance typically absorbs normal usage.

Yes! Upgrade or downgrade anytime. If your hotel grows past 15 rooms, you'll move to the Growth plan. Changes take effect at the next billing cycle. Optional add-ons and prepaid credits continue according to your selected setup.

I run a chain — can I bill all my properties together?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Sign up the chain at dashboard.hotelary.ai/chain-signup and add 2–25 properties (above 25 → contact sales). One Razorpay payment per cycle covers the whole chain, and we issue separate GST tax invoices per state of supply (CGST+SGST for intra-state, IGST for inter-state) so each state's input tax credit files cleanly. Volume discount: 10% (2–4) · 15% (5–9) · 20% (10–24) · 25% (25+).

I already have a chain — how do I add property N+1?

From your dashboard, open the property selector and click "Add property to <your chain>". The wizard takes 2 minutes: name, city, state, room count, then one prorated Razorpay payment for the remainder of the current cycle. Place of supply on the new GST tax invoice is the new property's state. If adding the property crosses a volume tier boundary (e.g. 4 → 5 properties moves you from 10% to 15% off), the new tier kicks in on your next bundled invoice — not mid-cycle, to keep your existing closed-period tax documents untouched.

What if I close one of my properties?

Open the property selector → "Manage chain properties" → remove. End-of-cycle billing: the property keeps billing until your current cycle ends (no mid-cycle refund — cleaner GST, same as cancelling a Netflix sub mid-month), then the next bundled invoice excludes it automatically and your volume tier recalculates. You can restore the property any time before your cycle ends if you change your mind. After cycle-end, the removal is permanent and you'd add the property fresh (with a prorated charge for the new cycle).

How does chain renewal work?

Subscriptions auto-renew at cycle end. Seven days before your current cycle ends, you receive a Razorpay payment link via SMS + email for the bundled total of your active properties (any properties you removed via the dashboard are excluded). One payment renews the whole chain; we issue separate GST tax invoices per state of supply so your CA can file GSTR-1 cleanly. If your tier changed during the cycle (added/removed properties), the new tier applies on this renewal invoice.

Do you offer annual billing discounts?

Yes — save 20% on the base platform fee with annual billing. Optional add-ons and prepaid AI or WhatsApp credits are handled separately because they depend on your operational setup.

Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Each hotel's data is completely isolated (multi-tenant architecture with row-level security). We perform automatic daily backups with 30-day retention. Enterprise plans include additional compliance support.

Can I cancel anytime?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. No long-term contracts or cancellation fees. Monthly plans cancel anytime. Annual plans are non-refundable but you keep access until the end of the billing period. Unused prepaid credits carry over.
